Your Questions Just About Download Wireless Network Adapter

Ken asks…This computer does not have a wireless network adapter installed or configured – it’s a VAIO?I have had my VAIO – Z series for about 2 years now I think. I spent a lot of money on this, I think around 1800 USD! So it upsets me that I am not able to go online. At the moment I happen to have a dongle but I am going out of the country and cannot use this dongle or take it with me.

This computer has built in wireless and I have a switch which I turn on for wireless capability. For 2 weeks now, when I am not using the dongle this is the error I get. It started before I got the dongle.

I have tried going to the sony website and downloading a wireless adapter from intel pro wireless, i think – but it’s still not working. Can someone give me advice please – I am leaving in a few hours and need to fix this while I still have access to the internet.
I am using vista if that helps.bayview answers:Are you sure the wireless adapter is Intel product??? If so, the s/w version may not be compatible.
